I bought these chimes to replace a set that I had purchased a LONG time ago (maybe 15 years). They have moved with me to four different states and always hang outside my bedroom window. I was crushed when they finally fell apart and couldn't be repaired. I was no longer even sure of their name.

Searching for JW Stannard chimes, I found many listed - and most of them had recordings of their sound as well. Thanks to that, and going by their basic size, I took a chance and ordered. They arrived quickly and well packaged.

I'm happy to report that indeed, these are the same chimes that have been my companion for so long - AND they still appear to be made with the same craftsmanship and quality that allowed my first set to last all those years.

This is a delicate sounding, soothing chime, with a tone that is still full, and that carries, thanks to the solid metal used in their construction.

My thanks to JW Stannard, and to Amazon! These chimes make a lovely gift for oneself or others.

What a delightful sound! Each pipe is tuned to a note on the scale and when the plummet strikes the pipes they"sing".Because there is no breeze where my chime is located, I gently tap the plummet every time I pass by and the tinkling begins. A Feng Shui must.

The 35-Inch, "Nightingale" wind chime. The melodious sound of the Nightingale serves as the inspiration for this romantically classic sounding chime. 6 tubular chimes: E,F#,G#,B,C#,E J.W. Stannard has long been recognized as one of the premier wind chime manufacturers. According to the most recent research, 85-Percent of responding consumers bought J.W. Stannard s chimes because of the sound quality. EACH bell is individually hand-tuned to ensure that every chime plays exactly the notes inscribed on the wind catcher. The sound is so precise, it is considered a musical instrument. Each bell will maintain the chime s perfect pitch and never rust. Protective nylon grommets are used on the chimes to minimize each cord's contact with each bell, increasing cord life by 700-Percent and producing a clearer, cleaner sound. Removable hangers slip out to wrap around tree branches or any closed support. Diamond Line, the indestructible fiber used to tether satellites, holds the Stannard chimes together. The tops and wind catchers are made from weather resistant hardwoods and hand-rubbed with three coats of marine varnish to preserve their natural luster. The musical notes played by the chime are Laser engraved on the hardwood wind catcher. Included is a Magnetic Clapper that can "turn off" your chime. Just slide the clapper up and it will stick to the top of the frame.

Guatemala produces some of the world's most sought-after coffees, known for their complexity and natural sweetness. This coffee is grown in the highlands of Huehuetenango in northwest Guatemala, and is purchased directly from the farm owners and roasted fresh in small batches for all orders.

The farm is called Finca Vista Hermosa ("Farm with the Beautiful View") and has ten distinct "microlots" that produce unique flavor characteristics across the farm. Edlina Microlot is nestled at heights of up to 6200 feet and is grown under the shade of Inga and Cypress trees and fed by natural springs. This coffee is the one I always come back to. Always tasty, always surprising. I've yet to be disappointed by Brown Coffee Co's Guatemala selections and this one proves once again to be the perfect daily cup.

I too came to see this coffee after it was endorsed by Glenn "Instapundit" Reynolds. The way the positive reviews are so transparently rendered on the first day this overpriced coffee gets offered on Amazon is more than a little fishy. I also wondered about the connection between The Brown Coffee Company owner Aaron Blanco and "unbiased reviewer" Barbara E. Blanco. Kinda sets the tone for a dishonest IPO doesn't it? If this sort of rigged jury is no big deal for the Blanco family then the negative reviews should be taken in equal stride. You've pimped Glenn Reynold's endorsement and tried to pimp potential buyers with phony favorable reviews written entirely by family members. With those business ethics your coffee is highly suspect.

I LOVE THIS COFFEE!!! My coffee habits have been altered for the better since leaving the Starbucks peer pressure scene of drinking "old" coffee.

An AMAZING flavor of love from Huehuetenango, Guatemala in this brew. These growers pour their heart and souls into their coffees for I have met the grower personally and want to keep buying from someone who cares to grow only the BEST. The combination of great roasting from Brown's makes this a winner for me and maybe for you too.

I've been an avid drinker of this roast flavor for a full five years but you know what? Each year I find I am wonderfully surprised with their continual quality bean combined with a quality roaster like Brown Coffee Company...they have not disappointed or failed to make me try more!

Highly recommend any flavor from Brown Coffee Co. but THIS is my favorite by far!!

I bought these to replace the disintegrating subwoofers in the rear deck of my 2000 Grand Am; the factory speakers were made of paper and sunlight had caused the cones to break up. These are fairly well made for low cost speakers. The frame is pressed steel but is rigid and doesn't flex. The included grills are garish silver, but I didn't use them for my installation. To install these Boss speakers in place of factory speakers I had to remove the clips from the factory brackets and use the supplied screws. Point one - the supplied screws have heads that are too small and slip through the speaker mounting holes; I used some washers to back the screws up. I also had to enlarge the opening in the rear deck since these have much bigger magnets than the factory speakers. Point two - the supplied speaker wire is a joke; I was able to snap it with bare hands. I didn't use the Boss "wire," instead I cut the factory connectors off and used crimp-on speaker terminals. I have these speakers installed on the factory subwoofer amplifier (about 120 watts max) and they pound. With the factory EQ set flat and the fader centered, there is enough bass to make the entire rear deck, trunk lid and spare tire well vibrate (some dampening material would help I'm sure). The bass tends to drown out everything else, so I have the three low frequency controls turned down a lot. These speakers have a fairly tight bass sound when the levels are reduced; drums sound fairly lifelike and you can tell the difference between snare, tom and kick drums easily. Bass guitar riffs are clear and you can follow the scale fairly well; reggae bass lines are very pleasant to listen to. I don't know about midrange and highs, since the factory amp filters everything above about 150Hz out.

The bottom line - if you want some cheap bass, these will get the job done, and then some.

I bought these to replace the rear speakers in my 1998 Honda Civic 4 door sedan lx. They were totally blown. I bought these on a whim (and the cust reviews) and all I can say is WOW!. The speakers thump. Granted, they are cheapies and were like $20 bucks, buck after not hearing any sound from the rear of my car for God knows how long now, these are great. SUPER easy install. Only bad things is that the wires are JUNK. VERY thin. Again, oh well, what do you want from a $20 bucks pair of speakers?!?!?! I am very happy with my purchase. IF you are looking to really improves your sound system, DO NO buy these. These are just a nice replacement for stock/blown/junk speakers...

I have gone on many long trips, and when I get done my hand would ache. After installing this simple device I no longer have any hand fatigue. A must have for any motorcyclist.

I bought these originally because I had a universal vista cruise control on my old bike it worked by locking the throttle in any chosen position giving my hands a break on long runs

When i bought the Kawasaki vn 2000 I was a bit scared to use the locking type control as this bike was so much more powerful and heavy I thought if I fall asleep or something the locking type might be dangerous

I have done 60,000 kilometers with this throttle rocker and was so impressed by its toughness as I had different brands before this one all the same concept but by far this its the beat one has not broken or given me a single problem in all that time

I was so impressed I bought 5 more as Christmas presents for my riding buddy's

I just moved from crotch rocket to Harley Superglide. Patially for the comfort that a 41 year old body needs. The Throttle Rocker solves the pain issues I have with carpel tunnel. The throttle control formerly provided by squeezing and twisting has been replaced with an easier and more comfortable rocking application from the heal of my hand. Getting the TR placed and adjusted takes seconds and getting used to it takes a few miles, but once I was acustomed it became second nature. I think it also reduces some of the vibration transmitted to my hand. It even makes longer rides better with a reduction of fatigue in hand and sholders.
AND! it only cost $15! Probably the cheapest best upgrade I've made ot either of my bikes. Get one if you think you want better throttle control or reduced stress on your wrist.
