I got this large dutch oven for a stone soup party we have every year. We make stone soup over a camp fire every fall. In previous years I had used two smaller ones. One large one works so much better for both the effect and for practical reasons.

The pot arrived in great shape. I seasoned it on my gas grill. My only concern is that the lid doesn't fit well with the handle up. When you lift up the handle, it pushes the lid off to the side. The lid could use a bigger lip that fits inside the oven and the handle could be a little wider.

All-in-all I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I've read a few of the other reviews regarding shipping problems with this item. It seemed like I might have been taking a risk of having problems myself. After all I'm purchasing a 47 pound item and getting free shipping. I'm sure that Amazon... or whoever the vendor is... wasn't going to absorb the cost of providing a secure crate to ship this item as a freebie option. In some eyes that is fair.

Nevertheless, I took a chance. I got my item in a reasonable amount of time. Yes, I took the freebie shipping option and I got an undamaged product. I can't say that the negative reviewers were over reacting to their problems as I have no difficulty imagining what happened to them.

For sure, I received my product in the same box that one would find on the shelf at a local store. Yes, the cardboard is flimsy. There was no foam, paper or anything to absorb shock from any banging, dropping, etc. It had the plastic strappings (thankfully!!)... but the box surely took a beating somewhere... likely during the shipping process. It held together... barely... but all in all there were no cracks in the iron pot or lid.

I'm happy with the outcome... but I truly think that one is taking a roll of the dice here. I don't know if upgrading the shipping will provide a more secure shipping package or not... but at nearly 50 pounds for the pot... you're going to pay a pretty penny for upgraded shipping. Would be wise to make contact to confirm that you're getting a better shipping package when upgrading... or learn from others' experiences and perhaps you can demand getting better packaging with free shipping.

Depending on how bad you want the item... it might be worth it.

First off, let me say that this review is strictly dedicated to the home kit. The receiver itself is fantastic and gets 5 stars from me. This home kit, however, is the biggest waste of money.

I don't live in a rural area. I don't live in a heavily congested area. I don't have an abundance of trees in my yard. What I have is a normal home in a normal town in a normal state. But for some reason, I can't get a steady signal from this home kit.

I'm constantly running around my house with the antenna in my hands trying to get a signal so that I can listen to my programming. Time of day is not a factor. It happens in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Please do some research to see if there's an alternate antenna or home kit that would work for you. Again, the receiver is great, but this was a wasted $50.

This is a great little case. The only permanently open spots are the rear camera and the speaker on the bottom. The front cam,screen, and rear logo have thin plastic over them. The case is nice and grippy, but you cannot dock to stereos and the like.

The construction of the case is aright. It does protect the iPod touch alright and fits reasonably well.

But I bought this because of the holster. It is not really usable because it is very hard to get the case to click into the holster, and even harder to get out. And since it clicks in with the front facing in, you cannot just take it off your belt and use the iPod. Also, if you have your headphones jacked in while its in the holster, you cannot take it out with out unplugging. So all the holster is good for is just carrying it around while you are not listening to it...I guess.

I wish I just bought the Otterbox touch case without a holster (which is more expensive) and left it at that. But this is an ok case and the price is right. So I gave it three stars.

I wonder why no one has a belt clip rig for an iPod Touch? Puzzling.

The ipod feels a little loose in the case, but it's still being protected. Pretty good for the price... Although, now I'd spend $10 for the real otter box.

My son is a little over a year old and he really enjoys this book. We have it checked out from the library and I'm going to put it on his wish list for Christmas. He has always enjoyed looking at things to see how they work and looking at the working parts of toys and items around the house. As an adult I don't think the pictures are incredibly special, but they are photos of everyday type things shown in a way that you might not notice if you were just around town.

I bought this saw for pruning trees, clearing brush and other light duty stuff. I am very impressed. Besides small limbs and trees, I have used this saw on rhododendron up to 5 inches in diameter and removing a mature Hemlock up to 15 inches in diameter. The 40 foot hemlock required removing the limbs on the way up and then cutting the tree in sections from the top down. This saw is so much lighter and easier to use up in a tree than my gas powered Husqvarna 55. Although I may not cut hardwood firewood into sections for hours with this saw or fell large trees, it has ample power for anything else. The chain tensioner is easy to use and holds fast, the saw is light and maneuverable and quiet enough to use without hearing protection. I highly recommend this saw.

We lost several big branches in the recent October snowstorm in CT, so I ordered this chainsaw (together with a quart of oil) and spent a few hours working outside to chop up the branches. This product was great. Absolutely flawless. It cut through small branches easily, and even cut through 10" thick logs without any difficulty. I filled the oil chamber before I started and it was still above the minimum level when I finished for the day. This really is very simple to operate, the chain didn't come loose despite some reviewers' experiences, and it didn't burn through that much oil. Absolutely no complaints at all.
